Mark of the Beast is a 5 piece Brutal Deathcore band

based out of Seattle WA that brings the energy by combining highly aggressive 

rhythms, technical riffing and soaring leads. The band was originally founded as solo project by 

the vocalist Owen Benson in early 2023.  

As a guitarist of 16 years, Owen composed and 

recorded the Hellfire E.P. (to be released early 2025) before proceeding to recruit top talent from 

prominent local acts. Owen is the founder, composer, vocalist and front man of the band as well as the vocalist

in other local bands such as Born Without Blood and Ashes of existence. 

Jesus Djent is critical for his role as drummers and is known 

in the metal community for being one of the fastest drummers in the Seattle area. Through his speed and 

technical proficiency Mark of the Beast is able to perform at the top level and play with the best. 

He is also the drummer in other local bands such as Born Without Blood and Orator.

Dax Silva holds down the low end on bass with

aggressive accuracy and enormous energy on stage. While having a wide background with performance and

writing within various metal genres in addition to punk, Dax combines all of his skill and experience to the band

making each show an unforgettable experience. 

Guitarist John Lillibridge elevates the band to a new level

of technicality and acuity with a vicious combination of precision and speed. John also has a strong background

in composition on guitar in addition to other sounds including orchestral and percussive. John's accuracy allows

 Mark of the Beast to deliver the precision of the studio to life on stage.

Matt Stecz brings violent speed and rhythm on guitar

through his broad background spanning the full spectrum of highly aggressive genres. Matt combines 

and demonstrates his vast and rounded experience as a performer in multiple other bands of which most 

notably includes Vaulderie and Orator. With his dynamic skillset and speed, Matt's contribution dramatically 

expands the technical prowess and versatility of the band.
